  14. <p>     ACQUITTED. El Sayid Nosir, 36, Egyptian-born air-conditioning
  15. repairman; of the murder of Rabbi Meir Kahane, the Zionist
  16. firebrand who advocated the expulsion of all Arabs from Israel
  17. and the occupied territories; in New York City. Kahane was shot
  18. to death in a New York City hotel on Nov. 5, 1990. Although a
  19. witness testified that he saw Nosir pointing a gun at Kahane
  20. seconds after the shooting, defense attorney William Kunstler
  21. convinced the jury that no one saw Nosir pull the trigger and
  22. that no forensic evidence implicated him.
